Education


Born in 1982 in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) in a family of musicians Stella Timenova began studying the piano at the age of five. She was accepted at Dobrin Petkov National Music School in her city in the piano class of Stella Oslekova and at the end of her education in 2000 she receives the Diploma of Piano and Pedagogy with the Special Award Dobrin Petkov, which is given for extraordinary musical achievements. After it, Stella continues her piano study at “Pancho Vladigerov” State Academy of Music in Sofia in the class of Prof. Stella Dimitrova - Maistorova. The International Foundation “B’nai B’rith” sponsors Stella Timenova with a long-term scholarship for her captivating artistic presence (1996-2001). In 2005 she graduates the Academy with a Master of Performance and the best rating. In the same year Stella moves her residence to Switzerland, where at the High School of The Arts in Bern in the class of Rada Petkova she receives a Concert Diploma with the highest honors. Her education in Switzerland is great supported by a Swiss Government Scholarship.

Stella Timenova gives concerts in the main cities and at the biggest concert podiums in Bulgaria; Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Italy, France, Hungary, Macedonia and Turkey. She is a soloist with:
